I know I’ve been sort of quiet for a few days.  I’ve been bent over in agony with cramps nursing a particularly bad case of the monthly blues.  As I’ve been shoveling food in my mouth like a fiend eating a bit more than usual and finding it impossible difficult to find the desire to work out, I’ve been wondering if anyone else goes through this?

Do you get those insane urges for food during your period?  Do you manage to work out with the same intensity as usual?  How do you overcome this?

Please let me know if any of you have tricks up your sleeve or even if you just find yourself in the same boat.  I cannot wait for next week to come.  This carb-crazy monster inside of me has got to go!
